Measuring Homes for Real Estate Agents and Property Owners I have been measuring homes for local Real Estate Agents for over 20 years. Sketches include all the square footage (1st floor, 2nd floor, Porches, Decks, Garages, etc.). They also include area calculations. They can include interior walls, symbols (windows, stairs, doors, ceiling fans, tubs, sinks, etc), and interior room dimensions like they go into the MLS.
Agents use the sketches for brochures. Agents can offer professional Floor Plan Sketches as a main feature in listings presentations. The sketches are additional incentive to list with you. Home sellers love them. The sketches can show buyers the entire floor plan of the home.
